LULLABY for violin and piano by recognized Ukrainian - Canadian composer Alexander Levkovich was written in 2000. This new piece was dedicated to Alexander's friends Ilga and Indulis Suna.

LULLABY had its world premiere on Friday, May 12th, 2000 at the famous Heliconian Hall - Yorkville - in Toronto as well as the world premiere recording was made on June 25th, 2000 at the Toronto Music Gallery by Indulis and Ilga SUNA
LULLABY is included in two albums: " INDULIS SUNA AND HIS RED VIOLIN" and "LULLABIES AND SERENADES".
Indulis SUNA is playing on the violin made in 1963. by distinguish Latvian violin maker Martins Roberts ZEMITIS (1896. - 1995.) and he is its only owner. He has received many compliments about his violin's beautiful tone.
For many years hands of M. R. ZEMITIS have created fine concert instruments with excellent tonal qualities and superb oil varnish. He has won medals at home (Latvia) and abroad.
ZEMITIs has built 550 instruments: 425 of them are violins, 50 - for children, 70 violas and 5cellos.
His violins have been played all over the world, but the most significant contribution he has made to the musical life of Latvia.
His book "Violin Varnish and Coloration" was published in 1981 in California, U. S. A. by Amber Publishing Company.
