Imagine re-growing a severed fingertip, or creating an organ in the lab that can be transplanted into a patient without risk of rejection. It sounds like science fiction, but it's not. It's the burgeoning field of regenerative medicine, in which scientists are learning to harness the body's own power to regenerate itself, with astonishing results. Correspondent Wyatt Andrews brings you to the scientific frontier.
I live close to Pittsburg and had failed laser spine institute in Tampa FL on my lower back and neck. After two years, I have noticed B9 tumors growing in the same spots where my surgery was performed. Please let me know more about this. Thanks,

In theory, this could end all the problems men have with their circumcision when this gets to it. Thank you scientists!

this obviously isn't as important as amputees or wounded soldiers, but what if someday, in the future, this literally became the answer to all of our problems? ugly? grow a new face. smoker? grow new lungs/heart/everything else. want to get ripped quick? you get where i'm going with this. for now though, this is an amazing achievement, some could even say a miracle.
