This is a Schindler hydraulic elevator at the Sams Club in northwest Albuquerque, New Mexico, located near Rio Rancho and Cottonwood Mall. As everyone should know, Schindler elevators are rare in New Mexico as they don't have in-state offices. This is the only one I found in Albuquerque with HT fixtures. Note that this is an employee elevator; luckily the person waiting for it when I got off didn't have any problem with me using the elevator.

I personally think Schindler should open offices in Rio Rancho sometime in the future. Also, while I am a KONE fan, it would be nice if a Schindler 400A MRL elevator were installed in any building on the UNM Main Campus, along with an Otis Gen2 and ThyssenKrupp Synergy in addition to the several KONE EcoSpace MRL elevators being installed..

  • Nice elevator, and I would agree that Schindler should have offices in New Mexico, along with other states that don't have them.
