Hi all! So this is my mini review of the Brazilian Blowout and part 2 of my hair care routine video! I recently had this keratin treatment done on my hair and I LOVE the results! I think it would be excellent for people trying to grow their hair out because it allows you to wash your hair and let it dry naturally to effortless gorgeous strands of perfection! The shampoo and conditioner I use are from the Brazilian Blowout line.

Recipe for easy oil treatment!
You can also use olive oil as a treatment by either sleeping with it in wrapped in a towel or a shower cap.

You can also take 1/4 - 3/4 cup coconut oil, almond oil, avocado oil, or any oil rich in nutrients good for skin and hair (depending on the length of your hair). You can also add some lavender oil to soothe you before going to sleep. Mmm. This is totally optional though!

1.Shampoo your hair.
2. Heat your oil until it's warm to touch. Add the lavender oil.
3. Using your fingertips massage the oil into your scalp and hair, from roots to tips
4.Heat with a blow-dryer at medium heat until dry. The heat will cause the cuticle to open allowing your hair to absorb the oil.
When you're done! Shampoo again! Easy as that :)

If you find you have any build up from conditioner, product or oils, try using apple cider vinegar or regular cider vinegar to clean hair very well. Use this as often as you feel you need to. And use a deep conditioner every once in awhile to keep your hair from becoming dry and softening the ends so they don't split or damage.

Hope this helps you all!! :)

  • how do you sleep with ur hair to prevent damage? i heard sleeping with a ponytail can break your hair, but i find my hair tangles when i sleep with it down? :s

  • @olcia2701 Oh gosh, I'm bad about this. I sleep with my hair in pony's or buns, and the main reason is so that I don't pull it out when I'm sleeping! I hear using silk scarfs (my friend does this) work great, and silk pillowcases!! Unfortunately I am not that classy hahaha, and I get lazy so I rely on buns and pony's or braids. Braids I find work the best of those three though!

  • i use baby powder, but it doesn't smell toooo good. i went to school with it on, and my hair didn't look oily, but the smell, my friends said i smelt. so if i use baby powder to get rid of the oilyness in my hair, so i don't need to wash it everyday, how could i get rid of the smell ?

  • @BREAATHLESSx you could try a little corn starch (a trick they used before dry shampoo). Only use a small amount. But dry shampoo is SUPER affordable now, if you go to the drugstore or grocery store, check out Batiste (spelling??) or Got2B Dry shampoo. I've heard both are SUPER good and really affordable.

  • Hi! I have a formaldehyde free btk on my hair and I'm wondering if using apple cider vinegar is good or not in this case... I don't want it to wash away the treatment.....

  • @ChintiaStudiosEnt You know, I didn't actually get to try while I had the treatment. I wish I could be more asstistance!

  • how often do you cut your hair?

  • Did your hair stylest do the blow out for you??

  • I try my hair to grow long but it's so difficult because of the ends that I have. 2 years ago I use to have jet black hair and I wanted to grow my natural hair again so I bleach my hair and recolored it with a kind of blond brown but with the sun and all that turns out a bit orange. I cut off my hair every 2 months and now they're to my breast but they doesn't grow anymore. I don't use any heat but they still breaks.Do you think I have to get rid of all the orange if I want my hair to grow long?
