Well, you're going to have to sit down and talk to them. And you're going to have to be prepared for them to not understand. I'm 22 now, and I still don't wear black lipstick around my father, but if they're open minded, hopefully they'll understand.

If you want to wear it to school, it might not be very appropriate, but maybe you can come to a compromise for now. Start with a little eye liner, and if you can that you're mature and not just trying to get attention (because that is a parent's

greatest worry) and they have no reason to believe that you're doing it to act out, they will probably be easier on you about it, as well as seeing that even if you choose to dress a certain way or wear makeup that they may not like, you are still a mature person making well thought out decisions.

I would just like to tell you that Nyx Cosmetics makes a black lipliner. I know that black eyeliner is bad for lips because it wasn't formulated for consumption. So I hope that you have access to and like Nyx products. Also the tutorial was great.
