@BusterwolfX Thanks for clearing that up. Now that make sense. I dont like the good old days though, they were very frustrating if you were a Twelve player xD

@Shintroy YOU LIED TO ME 34 HOW CAN I EVER TRUST YOU AGAIN

Will a meaty Oki attack beat any wake-up move? And is a specific set-up more consistent and effective than improvising a meaty attack? I guess, theoretically, trying to hit a 2-frame link (f.HK or cr.LK) with no rhythm, isn't easy enough to always beat wake-up Shoryus or Ultras.

@Shintroy >Also I'm uploading ranked matches. when I get to 4000 PP this week (work) be sure to tell them to subscribe or/and post the videos.
@BusterwolfX These figures don't add up on the fake safe jump set up. Assuming the frame data is correct, Ryu should be able to hit Dudley before he recovers in time to block. The fake safe jump set up is 20+44=64 and Ryu wake up reversal DP is 60+3=63. Also When you do an air normal dont you get a extra 1-3 frame recovery on the jump? or im missing something here?

@OkaGantZ When you jump the character has something called pre-jump frames, airborne frames, and recovery frames. For Dudley they look like this: 4 Pre-Jump / 36 Airborne / 4 Recovery. So after a lk duck when Dudley is jumping in, you are actually on the ground after 60 frames. If you do the attack there is some extra frame or two that you are vulnerable, but after that you can block and are safe.

@BusterwolfX So what you are saying is that you can block on your recovery frames of the jump because you are grounded, not airborne right? So dudley can block on the 20+4+36+2=62 frame . Sounds wierd to me since i always thought that a character wasnt able to do anything, even blocking on its recovery frames... Why are they called recovery frames again? lol.

JDzer0 5 months ago
@JDzer0 not sure, I would have to test it, If I ever have to choose between lp mgb and hp jet upper, I always choose the latter.
