National UK competition, but mainly for Midlands squad. But it was its first year in the UK.
if anyones comp[aring this to American cheerleading/dance, Uk cheerleading/dance was a long way behind at the time.
this is a university squad so most people who do it have never done it before and start about age 18 or 19.

Gotta agree with all the other posts that it lacks energy, even the music didn't really fit the routine's co-ordination. Alot of energy in the song, none on the floor. You have to wonder what the competition was if this was the winner, the routine looks like it could be put together in a day or so. Is this a national competition?

what kind of award did they win? best effort? that was like cheer dance hip hop combined and they look ridiculous!

Just realised thats pretty mean. What I meant was in the dance there was alot of walking around and not much actually unison dancing and when there was alot of you were out of time. Also I think that you just needed to put more energy into it. The girl it zoomed in on at 0:28 was pretty good so if you all did all that it would probably have been worth 1st place.
