At 2:11 I was looking for the tyres on the right hand side of the track on that amazing fast corner, only to find that there were any back then! Amazing stuff.

Bellísima yes but in 1971 it was still reasonably safe Montjuich.
Agree that current tracks are articial and boring. Montjuich was unique.

Muito obrigado / Thanks for sharing this video. I'm from barcelona, and its the video on you tube wich shows most part of the track, and specially the fast part of it. Well, I think the drivers of those days were really brave guys, but I respect their wish to became old as Fangio and not became a tragic mith, young died, as Clark or Rind and many others...

Realmente uma bela filmagem. Mas Montjuich, mesmo para os padrões da época, era uma armadilha. Que o digam os mortos de 1975.

Que pista belíssima ! Apesar de ser um circuito de rua , em Montjuich existiam trechos de alta velocidade , o circuito era desafiador e os melhores pilotos se destacavam. Hoje em dia preferem correr no deserto em cenários totalmente artificiais! Muito dinheiro claro ! Mas a diferença é como de um vinho fino para um Gatorade de uva !
