Hi, I have an 11 month old Scarlet Macaw. We put in a shower perch and she doesn't want to have anything to do with it. She just stands in one spot and will not go in the water. How did you get Mango to go in the water? By the way, love this bird. I show the videos to everyone! How old is she?

@82jmadden Awe 11 months huh? I miss it when Mango was this old. She turned 6 on July 5. I got her when she was 4 months old.
You know some parrots just don't like the water period. I have a blue and gold who thinks I am sending him to his death when he gets a shower he looks pitiful but sometimes he is ok with it but this is rare so it just may be something some like and some don't.. With Mango I tried to make it fun and played with her I got in the shower with her and had a couple toys. :)

Sarah is my daughter who was away at college Mango loves her (one of the few) and calls for her all the time.
