Two Homeless Cats Who Need Homes

When a coworker left for a new job, he was told he could not bring his two cats to his new apartment. He tried to find homes for them. Days passed, and time ran out. On his last day in town, he was about to take Rainey and Momma Cat to the shelter. Rainey was 17 years old, so her fate was nearly certain. Although I have a houseful of cats (as every good librarian should) I agreed to foster these two cats until I could find them a home. I cannot bring any other cats in my house, so they are temporarily living in my workshop, where they have food, clean water and litter boxes. I try to visit them as much as I can, but they need PERMANENT homes where people can dote on them. It would be great if they could stay together, but if you could only take one, you would be giving a sweet kitty a life she deserves! They need to go to a home where they can live indoors. She looked just like Dobi, the House Elf in Harry Potter. So, we now call her Dobi. Momma cat likes to go by the name of Maggie.
