  • Unbelievable. Wish this guy the best of luck out there...

  • @chrispyt77 And did she stand by his side even when he lost everything and is living out of a van. Nope, she ditched him for a guy she didn't ruin. Typical western woman.

  • Unfortunately for him under the veneer of wealth that he was obviously portraying when things were good he was in actual fact no better off than the man sleeping on the streets because he owned nothing!! it was all owned by the banks ..lesson here must be to try your best to live comfortably but not to lose sight of the fact that things can go round very fast....be nice to people on the way up..because you may need them on the way down.

  • In all countries is the same. You won suficiente money to pay just a $500,000 house, but no, you end with a 1millon house, a $600,000 vehicle and a very big debt in interests. I hope the best for this guy out there.

  • We came to America 20 years ago, started to work from first month, two kids in school, we bought our small townhouse on second year, paid already for it after 10 years, kids finished school, college, and started to work. Now they are both without job, thanks G-d they have place to come back.I have my SS check, husband still working,so we can survive.

    People don't need 1 mln.dollars houses,fancy-shmancy cars

  • I hear this more and more often....people saying they know people working for 30 years and losing eveything and so on, or them working for 25 years and now nothing, but my question is.....what were you doing for those 30 years while you were making money...did it ever occur that when times are good, or in those thirty years or so, that it would be a good idea to save some money or maybe pay off some big bills. I feel bad for the 20+/30 year old people, trying to start living their lives.

  • I doubt he saw it coming. Maybe he thought it might happen but decided not to take the precautionary steps in advance. He should have sold the house no matter what his wife said. I don't feel sorry for him in the least. He overbought and it sounds like he didn't own anything. When borrow the money from the bank you got to pay it back. His life is over.

  • No disrespect to the bloke in the van but when he says he owned a $1 million dollar house with all the $400k renovations $50k tools, brand new truck etc, did he ACTUALY OWN them or did he have a loan from the bank, if so that means that the BANK owned his stuff not him. You must pay off the loans before you can call it yours !!!
