Ladies don`t believe the hype, believe the results. And today its all about preventing you from TIME SUCKS. What are these things? These are activities that seem good for you but are MEDIOCORE at best. Now understand that none of these things are HARMFUL. But everyone has a LIMITED amount of time to train and if you want to MAXIMIZE your results, look ELSEWHERE.

If you already train 5 hours a week and do this as extra work then your fine, but if you wanna get the body of your dreams, look elsewhere.


1. Zumba
Oh it sounds like a great idea. Dancing for weight loss. Right? Wrong. Its not intense enough, it's a big trend that tries to make fitness fun and I respect the attempt but the science just ain`t there. Bottom line is go OUT and actually dance with PEOPLE, it's the same thing.

2. Fitness Classes
Most fitness classes resemble happy hour with everyone doing jumping jacks. If the class does NOT have you regret coming, its not right for you.

3. Kettlebells
I actually love kettlebells but most people use them WRONG and try to use them for everything. Theres nothing magical about a kettlebell, it's a portable weight. Use them but don`t abuse them.

4. Yoga
I don`t like the Western version of yoga, heres why. It doesn`t burn a lot of calories, and some yoga instructors just SUCK. They make areas already flexible hyper-flexible and the result is other muscles are inhibited and become tighter, putting you at GREATER risk for injury. I love real, INDIAN yoga, its part of my background. If you want to enjoy some quiet time, I respect that, but bodyflow, hot yoga or any of that shit ain`t nothing but bullshit.

5. Spinning
Ok so lets get this straight, you sit on your ass for one hour and push a pedal. And this will give you a great body? Repeat what I just said and see if it even makes sense. Go cycling outside!

As a bonus tip, Reebok Easy Tones are terrible for your feet and will not cause weight loss.

The truth might hurt, but not getting results hurts even MORE. And by watching this you just saved a whole bunch of time in the future!

  • Nice Video Series... Though I have two points to clarify on.

    1. Yoga. I'm a massage therepist, and I can tell you that 90% of the troubles I see are people not stretching and their muscles constricting. In fact, after age 26 you start to lose 1% of your flexability on average every year. The number one thing that makes you act old is inflexability. So I do recommend a yoga class once a week.

    2. Spinning is good as a mix with other aerobic classes. Mix it up, don't avoid it.

  • I've got to agree with the spinning comments, nothing pushes me harder than a spin class and I lost my 1st 20lbs doing pretty much just spin. Of course I've branched out a lot more since then to include weights, running, etc; but back then I was too self conscious for anything else (classes are done under black lights) AND it was fun so I actually stuck to it!

  • @NewMountain3 . No. That's a very simplistic view of kettlebells. Having extensively trained with both dumbells and kettlebells I can confidently tell you that they are quite different, the weight distribution is different, the grip is different and most kettlebell exercises do not work as intended with dumbells. I personally prefer kettlebells but then the exercises suit what I am training for. Dumbells have there place as well it all comes down to what program you are doing & what you like.

  • @iwanttoknowchrist not here to get into an argument, but you should do yoga 3 times a week for a month. Then come talk to me

  • Kettlebells are the biggest scam. Women have gone out and bought them in the millions and are taking kettlebell specific class. Um...kettlebells are just dumbbells that are shaped different and have a different name. They are nothing new. If you have dumbbells, don't convince yourself that you must have these kettlebells. PLUS kettlebells aren't adjustable like some dumbbells, so you need to buy like 10 of them.

  • @basboyblair theres no observable difference has been scientifically shown between stretching for 30 seconds and stretching for a longer period of time, Yoga is just a way to make money off of people and to indoctrinate them spiritually with trash, yoga is useless, a person would be better off stretching a little every nice in a while than wasting money. don't let them persuade you into joining in on their cult and fairy tales, stretching is great, healthy and beneficial, yoga is utter crap
