  • This is nothing special.

    1. I don't use paper towels - at all! We use wash-up cloths, which we wash and re-use over and over again

    2. I don't own a tumble dryer - we hang all our washing out to dry. Do you have any idea how much electricity a tumble dryer uses in any event?!

    3. I've never bought a piece of furniture new anyway.

    4. We clip coupons, and look for specials and marked down stuff all the time. Common sense.

Also a good idea is to track your expenses using software.I have a vid on it

  • Reusing paper towels is unhygienic - you'd also need a place to keep these used paper towels.

Don't live like you're on welfare now so that you can live like you're on welfare later. Budget, do without frills, and think before you buy.

  • Or you could light a cigar using a coupon instead of a $100 bill

  • She saves paper towels but probably drives an SUV...

    Thrifty my ass...

  • We all want to save money but there are ways that few people know about. Some are really fun rather than the problem of always trying to get money off food. I found a really great way to get massive discounts off all sorts of items.

  • She probably spends at least an hour turning 2ply toilet paper into 2 rolls of 1ply.

  • you can't rinse out cheap paper towels...sorry, but they dissolve instantly. i agree with the condiment tip-that's a good one. also, adding water to any soap products works wonders as does using just hand soap for showering and all other soaping needs :)

  • Can I reuse toilet paper too?

  • Thanks for the great tips. I am sure moms out there will love it too. I hope you'll find the time to visit my channel as well.
