  • this video is so unrealistic...if you ever swing your stick like that when your opponent is dribbling towards you, you will get an immediate call for hacking. if you want to learn field hockey dont come and watch youtube....

  • I m not saying that the guy showing drills are't good but these are so old.I m from pak i know the standard of a field hockey.our 10 year old child has more skills and knowledge than this guy have.u must grow up coach.the way u swinging the hockey if u did this in "D" that's gonna cost u a penalty cornor or may be a penalty stroke.bye

  • This is exactly why Pennsylvania produces high level hockey players and not Florida....

  • umm im a defensive player too and if we ever swung our stick like that in the game (and maybe it's just the refs) we get called 99% of the time for hacking if we hit their stick or not. and if this video is for beginners, they should probs start with the basic block tackling and jab when the ball is NOT on the attackers stick.

    totally true but you can do that with jabbing and running backwards.
