Windfall Tax Elimination Bill

Teachers, military and other "blue collar" type workers are only getting a piece of their social security benefits upon retirement. It discourages people from entering the field after being in the private sector. SOme of us don't have two pensions like the COngress does. They have been sitting on this bill forever!

Many people don't about this law and many people who go into teaching after working in the private sector don't even know until its to late. That first time you contribute to your teacher retirment you just screwed yourself out of thousands of dollars in benefits that you paid into. Illegals get Social Security but hard working Americans get the shaft after they have paid into it.
