This started happening today after being detailed. Likely a coincidence but odd nonetheless, any ideas?

  • @caytu666 also, the engine light cleared up after driving a half hour or so, which I have read elsewhere to be expected. All said and done, I am not sure if the reconnecting of the wires, or the fact that some water that got into some connection might have dried up was the cure, but it hasn't happened again since.

  • @caytu666 I held off on resetting via the battery pull in hopes of finding out the cause. Instead, I went under the hood and, knowing that the engine had been cleaned, sprayed, and likely power-washed, decided to make sure all connections, clips, wires, etc were properly connected. I spent a good fifteen minutes or so connecting or reconnecting everything possible. Once I did that and started up, the issue seemed to clear up, aside from the check-engine light still being lit up.

  • same thing happened to mine 2 days ago did you get it fixed or it just stoped doing it . mine stopped after i disconected the battery and reconnect it again it has not done it again
