SRV Lenny performed by Conrad Oberg.

Stevie Ray Vaughan passed away 20 yrs ago today. He wrote this song on a Fender Stratocaster guitar from a pawn shop that his wife Lenny gave him for his birthday. Conrad has gotten many requests for this over the years, and felt it was appropriate to post it today. Rest In Peace Stevie Ray.

I left a post on a vid of you playing hendrix saying how much of a gift you were. Now tht i hear you play stevies music like tht, I simply dnt know wat words to say. Stevie is my favorite, I have never heard anyone but him play it with as much feeling and soul as you. I said once before i hope you become one of the greats. But now it is not hope, but anticipation of when you become recognized as one of the greatest not just artist, but musical angel tht jimi and stevie sent themselves from above

This is just unbelievable. The pure emotion that Conrad can get out of his guitar.

He's gonna be big, HUGE! I can't imagine what he's gonna do in 10 years. I really hope that he's gonna be one of the all time Great Guitarists, he has the necessary skills for it and he'll have even more in a few years.
