How's Koh Samui looking now? Still flooded? The water level looks really high in the video!

I'm heading off to Thailand in 7 days. Plan on spending one week in Chiang Mai for Songkran then heading down to Samui. Not sure what Samui will look like by the time I get there but between this and Songkran it's gonna be one wild and wet vacation!

Thanks for the updates on the situation out there. hopefully everyone on the islands is safe. I'm heading out to Thailand on the 13th April and will be hopefully (Weather permitting) heading over to Koh Tao on around the 17th. Any news on how Koh Tao & Koh Phangan have been effected by this??

@Manchild815 koh phan nga and koh tao are really close to samui, it should be the same situation, but mid april i think it will be clear.

Now the rainfalls have stopped for 1 hour and the water levels go down really fast, the shituation is back to 27 march levels. Hope no more rain tonight ;-) For those who have vacations planned soon, don't worry, here under the tropics, when the sun comes it dry the everything fast :-)
