@writer13426 As far as I know, the graduation performance isn't comprised entirely of the graduating students- It also serves as a year end performance for several of the younger classes. So they're probably younger students :)

I was surprised at the difference between today's and yesterday's students. Physically today's are much much thinner.(See video at 2:19 to 2:47 for students from decades past.)
