Must have been a hard time for a lot of belgians.. can't imagine Holland without KLM but I think KLM won't be go into bankruptcy for the next 20 years at least

the main reason for the demise of sabena airlines is the mishandling of money and corrupted sabena managers for all the money they stolen from sabena .

I wish you a lot of succes. My uncle, Wim Huizing, was pilot for DHL on the Aibus 300 but is now retired. Because of that we were several times in Belgium, Zaventem.

That's why I like Sabena and all Belgium airlines so much.

@LM1C144 SABENA had for a very long time been losing a lot of money, it tried in 1987 to co-operate or even merge with SAS..SABENA s routenetwork in Africa would have been useful today with the economic revival in Africa. SABENA also had a routenetwork in Asia...everythin vanished..why could not Belgian government save SABENA like the french did..the French pumped in over 2billion Euros in bankrupt Air France and tralala..Air France was on the move again,buying KLM.Unfortunately lot of people
