@TL23455 This is the 1st time I read that KW wanted Andie with Pacey. I just read where he says pretty much that he realized Pacey/]Joey were the better couple and made more sense than Dawson and Joey. IMO, he think he may have wanted Andie for Pacey because he wanted Dawson and Joey. For my sake, I'm glad things changed for whatever reason, but sorry you didn't get what you wanted for what's its worth.

I disagree, but alright. Just think about this. She dumped Pacey end of season six to be with Eddie. KW admits; if he gets Meredith; Pacey gets Andie.. He needed the actress for two weeks not the one day she could spare. With the limited time he had her it felt like Andie was going to be a consolation prize. He could not develop the story line. So at the very last minute he cuts the scene and gives Pacey to Joey. And Dawson movie fame. Everyone got something

@TL23455 I respect your viewpoint, but I just don't see it with the way the show was written As for Andie in the finale, I saw the deleted scene with her. I didn't use it, in my opinion because they had a rewrite for Pacey and Joey. Putting Pacey /Andie together would not have felt right since she was gone for so long. You will disagree and that's fine. lol

I disagree. The way he broke up with Joey at the prom showed he had lost all respect for her. By the way the ending you saw at the end of the show was not the intended ending. If Meredith Monroe had been available for two weeks you would have had a Pacey / Andie ending. Joey was never intended to be Pacey's end game till the last minute

@TL23455 No, I think Pacey makes it clear that he breaks up with Joey because he thought she deserved better than him. He did not lose respect or love for Joey. In Season 6 episode Clean and Sober, Pacey admits he never gotten over her. Also, even after she breaks it off with him in that season, they never would have ended up back together in the seriee finale if Pacey lost respect and love for Joey.

No They were not proving anything. At the time Pacey thought he was in love with Joey. Pacey basically used Andie to go to the prom to see Joey. Andie realized at that point that Pacey was in love with Joey. So instead of being a bitch she told him to go after her; even though she was in love with Pacey. That was the true love.The way Pacey broke up with Joey at Promicide; he would have never treated Andie like that. Basically Pacey lost respect for Joey

Yes, definitely Andie really loves Pacey. But it's undeniable that Pacey and Joey are truly in love, too.

Joey and Pacey are not true love. Yes he thought he was in love with her at this time, but True Love is what Andie did. She is totally in love with him and realizes that she can't have him and encourages him to go after Joey and find happiness. That is True Love.
