@shieldsff Amen! It's sad but Israel and the old testament is the perfect example of what is going on today. Israel at times repented other times didn't repent. There were periods of grace but if repentance didn't take place, people and lands were destroyed. The Old Testament is the warning of what will happen after this period of grace TODAY. Grace won't overrule Judgement when God decides to do it. And so many christians don't like the Old Testament when it is just as much about love 2

@shieldsff John says it perfectly when he says that the children of God exhibit the ways of righteousness and the children of the devil practice wickedness. This is evident in ones lifestyle. People liked to argue with me that it doesn't matter how you live. My question was, if that's true, is Apostle John a liar? I would say that he was not.

@FitnessMinded - yes, it was a Supernaturally, incomprehensible LOVING God who over & over & over & over for years and decades warned the people and their leaders to repent and GIVE UP THEIR SELF-DESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIORS before it was too late... God was given unmistakable warnings that their actions would result in destruction and ruin. That's great LOVE to do so.

Actually,it's not that you "lose salvation" (If we are born again, confess our sins and seek the Kingdom of God we are in the hands of the Father and no one can snatch us out). Rather, if we have a life-style of willfulness, rebellion and hatred of righteousness, it's maybe that we do not really know Jesus or have serious flaws in our foundational knowledge about the deliverance the atonement & resurrection of Jesus has done for us in THIS life.
