@Erik83474 Which competition has he won?
-
@Erik83474: They awarded him third place. Among the members of the jury, only Martha Argerich ranked him number 1 together with Yulianna Avdeeva, the winner. They both could have won the first prize. For god's sake, the other members of the jury might be deaf. This year's Tchaikovsky Competition gave him what he deserves :-)

This is so beautiful I can hardly believe my ears...A true genius becomes each note that he plays, and Trifonov, at the tender age of 20, does just that (and more)...

Danil embodies the perfect unification of mind, body, and spirit in creating the most eloquent conversation between performer, piano, and listener.

Il n'a pas eu le premier prix à Varsovie?? est-ce possible??

He has incredible potential ahead of him. Really excited to watch his development as a pianist.

Good God! What perfection!
One of the finest performances I've ever heard!
Why didn't this guy win the Chopin Competition as well, for god's sake? :-)

He's got beautiful technique, but it is in service to the music. He's a very mature musician. I'm looking forward to his continued development.
