I just fell in love with this scene! Beautifully done.

A few months after her husband, Nate died, his and Brenda's baby was born prematurely.
Brenda has been giving up hope on her baby. Thinking she may lose her very soon. And throughout the episode, the 'ghost' of Nate has been haunting her, telling her that their newborn will die soon. But it was HER who thought that, not Nate. So now she finally accepts the new life as her own. (btw, the other man with Nate is his dead father, Nathaniel.)

  • Holy shit, insta-tears from this scene

    Alan Ball makes me bawl

  • @b32008 ummm.......ever heard of Jim and Pam?

  • Thank you for posting. This is ONE of my favorite scenes. For those of you who are die hard fans like me.... when you watch this.... (this may sound strange....trying to put in words the feeling) a BEAUTIFUL SADNESS washes over you. God bless Alan Ball for his vision! Thank you for giving us five years of the AWESOME FISHER FAMILY. God, I miss them.

  • I've watched this finale 5 times so far.

    I cry harder everytime...

  • It's the best I've ever seen on television.

  • This scene ripped my heart out.

  • Such a good scene! I love this moment.

  • very beautiful and moving scene. I've always thought Nate & Nathanial really 'visited' Brenda since she really needed to hear those words and have some form of closure w/ Nate.

  • "I love her so much, I always will" Oh such a lovely moment :)

  • It could be the most powerfull scene of this briliant show.
