West Side Story at Venice Theatre- Web Video 1

This is a "Smash Class" led by Dorian Boyd, the chief audio technician and sound designer at the theatre. The students violently destroyed a variety of computer and electrical equipment in order to make a recording of smashing noises to be used in West Side Story.

Summer Stock is a summer program for high school and college level students that aims to provide a complete theatre experience. In addition ot their parts in the show, students are expected ot assist in building sets, hanging lights, sewing costumes, and all of the other aspects that are necessary for their production.
