Within that analogy "PC" equals "car".
What exactly would exclusive Mac parts be? The casing. But on the inside? Intel CPU, Nvidia GPU, Toshiba HDD, LG display panels... it's typical PC architecture. There's no reason not to call it what it is: A PC. "Mac" is just a brand name.

So when I buy some PC components and put something like FreeBSD on it then it is a PC. But when a company buys some components, puts OS X on it and sells it to you then it magically ceases to be a personal computer?
You either fail to understand the definition of "PC" or you don't realize how close Macs and other PCs are.

What is funny is that the war btwin pc users and mac users is only on forums and utube, because in real life they could even b best friend.
I (personally) will never go beat up my friend cuz she uses a windows while i use a (xtremely cool) macbook air... :P
