This company is unbelievable,due to a downturn in trade in the US building industry these arseholes at James Hardie claim they cannot afford to pay compensation to victims of products it built its fortune in Australia.

I also can't believe the Australian government allowed them to leave without securing compensation for people that have or will die from products they mined and manufactured.

No,a good comment.They were a big Australian company.They made nearly all the building products used in this country,employed hundreds of workers and sponsored things.I know a fair bit about them so I can say this.What qualifications do you have? Can you give reasons for that negative remark.

I remember when James Hardie was the quissential Australian company.Nearly everything in the building industry was made by JH.Virtually owned all of the Granville industrial area with its own railway station too!Sponsored Parramatta during their good years and the Bathurst 1000.Its sad to see how things turned out but then,they would not have been successful without their workers.

I'd love to see them go broke but not before they pay a whole lot more money out to victims ,there will be new victims for years to come.

My father died of asbestosis 6 years ago,I don't think they used JH products,I think the asbestos which was sprayed on came from the US but I still hate James Hardie no less.
