This is Tara. Sire is Wander 352, mother is Dahlia ster (Thomas x Tsjerk). This video shows some of the foal training we do each day with the little ones. Note: in September '06 at 6 months old Tara was named 1st premie, champ filly at her inspection.

  • is she by any chance for sale? i am looking at friesians and she looks interesting. my budget is $70,000.

  • Tara goes to her inspection Sept 2009 as a 3 year old. In the spring of 2010 I am planning on trying to breed her and selling her in foal. Keep tabs on our website. She is a very nice filly and is doing extremely well. Thank you for your interest.

  • i will be sure to keep up to date--

spring of 2010 she will be for sale in foal? sounds good. I am willing to wait. How much will you put her up for?

  • The price depends on how she does in her inspection, how much training I am able to provide, if she gets in foal, and who the foal's sire would be. As she goes through prep starting in April/May I hope to be adding pictures and videos of her. She is talented, but she is mostly the sweetest, most willing horse I have ever had.

  • Quick note - Tara went to the keuring yesterday and became ster. She was terrific. There is a video of her from last week here on youtube and soon I will update my website.

She goes on sale next week. I prefer she go to a serious breeder due to her terrific bloodlines. If she does not make babies it would be a real shame.

  • She is beautiful and so well behaved. I have a 6 year old Friesian mare and would like to breed from her. I live in France and it is not so easy to find Friesian stallions.

  • Wow. You can really tell you put a lot of hours in training her. What a good girl! Beautiful too!

  • Wow thats great! I can only imgaine what my horse would've been like if she hadn't been abandoned in a pasture...... :-(

  • Thank you. She just turned 3 and will go to her inspection by the Friesian judges in September. She remains incredibly sweet and easy to train. Like a sweet, loving puppy. I will try to post videos of her in training. We are starting her now.

  • leuk filmpje, mooie fries!

    Nice film and beautifull frisian!

  • i love to see young foals be exposed to all that stuff at an early age. i think it makes it easier when they get older. you have beautiful horses.
