You do know Green Arrow is not real, right ? Neither is Aquaman. An actor can play different roles, it's not that big of a deal, it doesn't matter if the characters are both from the DC comics. As long a he's doing a good job I don't see what's the issue.

It was going to be a TV show, however the CW elected not to pick up the pilot. That's the TV series work. A production company will get the green light to create a pilot and go with a script. The company will then market the pilot to television networks. If the pilot is "picked up" the first season (usually half the length of a normal season) will air to test reception and reviews. Then it is in the hands of the network whether they will add the series to their lineup.

Frankly I don't think you can judge with only 2 minutes of footage. But I understand. The sarcasm and jokes are a big part of Green Arrow's character on Smallville. Although what Rocket Mits meant was why did they chose the same actor for two different DC comics characters, I think.

But I have to agree with Rocket Mits. In this he's just playing Green Arrow playing Aquaman. There is no character personality difference

Their first mistake in this project is using Aquaman.Not a great character pre-injustice. They were better off going with green lantern...atleast then it would have lasted 5 or 6 episodes before being cancelled.
