Leicestershire First Awards 2010/2011

Boxset Media were commissioned to produce a film to highlight the achievements of award winners from the 4th Annual Leicestershire First Awards.

The Leicestershire First Awards were set up to promote excellence, leadership and citizenship throughout Leicester and to recognise those individuals who go beyond expectations.

Filming took place throughout Leicestershire and covered a wide range of communities and individuals including those involved in arts programmes for disadvantaged young people, social enterprises and volunteer emergency services.

The film had its premiere at the 4th Annual Leicestershire First Awards event at Leicester's Guildhall where it received a great reception by all attendees including High Sheriff of Leicestershire Resham Singh Sandhu, BBC Radio Leicester's Monica Winfield and Leicester Mercury editor Keith Perch.
