John Mayer Riffs

Me playing parts of most of the John Mayer songs i know. Sound quality isn't the greatest cause i tried recording it with the amp plugged into the audio of the camera. A few mistakes here and there aswell.

I'm about your age (17) and am totally into JM as well, even though my friends give me a lot of shit about it. They obviously don't realize how talented of a guitarist he is.

ANYWAY...what type of strat is that? Just standard? American standard? Something else?

And interesting how you fingerpicked the Belief solo...do you usually fingerpick more? That's pretty much my style, I've just never played with a pick...should I start trying to?

@cowboycliche022 Thanks  man, Its just a squier standard strat 20th anniversary. I fingerpick a majority of the time but i use a pick aswell just to keep my options open. It's up to you if you wanna use a pick , depends on what you wanna achieve and what sound you want,it woudlnt do any harm to learn how to use one.
