SB529? This is the main reason why Georgia is ass-backwards. Instead of this type of rubbish, how about the state work on getting out of the bottom percentage of academics? Oh yeah, you will probably blame that on the "Illegals"! You see, in Florida, we had the same crisis in the early 80's when Castro opened the Muriel Bay. Cubans were committing crimes, etc.. They turned out to be productive citizens just as any other race! Our state ranks in the top 10 every year in academics.

More than likely, you're assuming they are, so they don't have any legal protection under the law! YOU CANNOT FILM SOMEONE, IN A DOCUMENTARY, WITHOUT THEIR WRITTEN CONSENT!!!!! Not to piss anyone off. But, if the county wanted to save money for the "taxpayers", why do they have the rank of Captain working in the jail? There is only one jail in the county of Gwinnett. What purpose does he or she serves? A Lt. can be the Proctor and the Major can be the commander. I'm sure the money they save in eliminating that rank, could be used in other areas. Perhaps.......PAY INCREASES FOR THE DEPUTIES???
