Letras de las Cruzadas:
(Clarke / Hicks / Nash)
All is dark
The moat is dry
Shadows fall
The roof lets in the sky
All these memories
Go round in my head
Of the life I have led

Minstrels play
Familiar melodies
And once more
The past comes back to me
All these memories
Go round in my head
Of the life I have led

The grass has grown much taller now
Over running everything
Oh, oh, since I've been gone

The grass has grown much taller now
Over running everything
Oh, oh, what have I done

Break

The grass has grown much taller now
Over running everything
Oh, oh, since I've been gone

The grass has grown much taller now
Over running everything
Oh, oh, since I've been gone

All is dark
The moat is dry
Shadows fall
The roof lets in the sky
All these memories
Go round in my head
Of the life I have led

Todo está oscuro
El foso es seco
Shadows Fall
El techo permite que en el cielo
Todos estos recuerdos
Dé la vuelta en mi cabeza
De la vida que han llevado

Trovadores jugar

Oh, oh, ¿qué he hecho

[Pausa]

La hierba ha crecido mucho más alto ahora
Durante todo correr
Oh, oh, ya me han ido

La hierba ha crecido mucho más alto ahora
Durante todo correr
Oh, oh, ya me han ido

Todo está oscuro
El foso es seco
Shadows Fall
El techo permite que en el cielo
Todos estos recuerdos
Dé la vuelta en mi cabeza
De la vida que han llevado

  • What a beautiful song. One of my new favorites by the Hollies.

  • IA. To see those two childhood friends and pivotal members of the Hollies together again would be incredible.

  • For Ceertain because has some of their finest songs...so under rated.

  • I totally agree, to see them together again would be a total dream come true for me :)

  • It's me that must ask forgiveness, my dear. I don't mean to come across as if I'm 'defending' Graham. They blend together so well! Wish they'd sing together at Glastonbury or Manchester this year.... *S*

  • Don't get me wrong, I adore Graham. I'm a big fan of Clarke and Nash. :)

  • Allan does sing lead on the break 'The grass has grown much taller now', but Graham leads off -- his voice is never forced.

  • Thank you for this video

  • i agree

  • Sorry, IAAN, but Allan is singing lead with Graham singing harmony. :) I love it when Allan sings softly, his voice is just beautiful. He and Graham were a wonderful vocal combo.

  • You sure this isn't Graham singing lead on this one? He didn't do it as much as Allan, and may not have been used to it at the time. His voice is also lighter, because he sang on the breath while Allan belted.
