Over 120,000 fans watched the explosive action as Phil McCallen took the chequered flag in the Mobil 1 Superbike race after fighting hard with Mike Rutter over the fast Triangle course. Rutter's revenge was to lift the coveted NW200 Superbike title and take 600cc honours as well.
