This is an introduction of the Kyoto dialect, which is pretty famous for the language of Geisha. Partly because of that I sometimes sound feminine in this video, but I would like you to get a general picture of Kyoto-ben and enjoy it :)

  • osakaben and kyoto ben = kansai ben right? I mean they sound similar and they finish sentences with the copula ya instead of da.. or are there any slight differences? :)

  • @Lecreuset871 yes, verb conjugations are sometimes different first. E.g. "don't have / don't exist" - "arahen (kyoto)" / "arehen (osaka)". And Osakans don't usually use some expressions that people in Kyoto use and vice versa

  • 私も京都に行きたいです!

    お聞きしたいんですが、

    京都弁と京言葉は同じですか?

    わたしは台湾人ですから、日本語はまだ下手です

    すみません!

  • @JhengYiLin 同じだと思います。日本語お上手ですよ。
