  • Well, if you slice their heads open, you're spilling all that gorgeous brain juice and more importantly, the lobster fat! Tastiest parts are near the head. I'd just throw them in whole. It doesn't take long to kill them that way too... It's not torture if the shock of hot water kills them almost immediately. But hey... slicing head is more humane... just slightly more.
