CELL PHONE HARASSMENT - 2010 FILM YOUR ISSUE SEMI-FINALIST

Two high school seniors from Vero Beach, Florida have a solution to combat the growing problem of cell phone harassment: a government-based program to work with teens on blocking cell phone numbers with just a simple phone call, giving teens the privacy and independence without requiring parental intervention, or involving peers, to eliminate embarrassment and pain. As part of this government program, we also suggest counselors for teens to talk to, since some people could have extremely negative side-effects from being harassed.

Curtis is actively involved in local TV production with both a production company (Framework Productions) and in his high school as a second year TV production student. Heather has written, directed, and produced multiple short segments that have aired on local broadcast and cable television.
