Separate Ways: Someone Save Me; Chapter 10 Part 1

Nick's POV

I couldn't believe Kevin and Hayley had done....well that! I expected this from Joe maybe, but not Kevin. At least we finally understood what was bugging Hayley this whole time. I would never have guessed. When Carson suggested we all go bowling for our last day together, it only seemed right as we had previously made these plans. And I love beating Joe at anything.

"This is so unfair!" Joe moaned. "Nick always wins!"
"I can't help being a winner." I teased.
"And I can't help being a guitar hero." Kevin added.
"Yeah well....I can't help being insanely hot!" he bragged.

We all laughed at Joe as he struck his best model pose, pouting his lips and tossing his hair.

"Baby." Carson said. "Never do that in public again." she stated.

We all laughed now as Joe's pouty face became real. We pulled up outside Bowl-O-Rama! It was quiet for a friday night, but at least we wouldn't be disturbed. We all walked inside to pick up our shoes and get set up.

"Shoe size?" the clerk asked.
"11." I told him.
"Shoe size?" another clerk asked Kevin.
"12." he said.

We walked over to the side to change while Joe collected his shoes.

"Shoe size please?"
"13." Joe stated proudly.

The girls giggeld at him before coming to join us.

"Here you go sir, size 13." he said, handing Joe the overly sized bowling shoes.
"Actually I'm a size 8." he confessed.

The guy gave Joe a funny look before rolling his eyes. He walked towards us and started replacing his shoes.

"Joe. You do realise you would never pass for a size 13. Your feet are smaller than Rileys!" I laughed.
"Hey!" she yelled. "I resent that. They are averagly sized." she stated.
"Riles. They are averagly sized for an elephant. Your feet are like a clowns." Hayley laughed.

AN: My friends always bully my feet! THEY AREN'T THAT BIG!

"I love clowns." I said, kissing Riley's cheek.
"And I love boys with abnormally curly hair and awesome guitar skills." she smiled back.
"Ohhh Burn!" Joe yelled.
"Your going down Danger!" I said.

We started playing and decided to do teams. Myself and Riley. Joe and Carson. Kevin and Hayley.

"Which one of you girls bowls the best?" Kevin asked.
"Guess you'll have to wait and see." Hayley teased.

We began bowling and Joe began acting retarded. He walked up to bowl his fifth shot.

"Try and hit some pins this time Joey!" Carson yelled, as he picked up his ball.
"Those gutter balls were totally unfair. I did not bowl that badly!" he stated.

He bowled this time and managed to hit 2 pins.

"YEAH!" he yelled, pumping his fist in the air.
"GO JOE!" Carson yelled, high-fiving him.

I looked at Riley and rolled my eyes.

"Let's show them how it's done." I said.
"Totally."

I threw my ball, spinning down the lane, knocking over a full set of shiny white pins.

"YEAH!"

Riley bowled next and she managed to hit five pins.

"Try and get a spare." I said, encouraging her.

She bowled again and managed to hit four pins.

"HA! YOU MISSED!" Joe yelled, laughing at Riley.
"Shut up Joe!" I said.

Kevin and Hayley were next. They thought they had a tactic worked out which magically helped Kevin get strikes every time. Just as they had before, they walked towards the ball return, chose a ball and then Hayley kissed Kevin. Then he bowled his ball and got a strike. Amazing.

"Works everytime." Kevin smiled.

Hayley gave him a quick hug.

"You do know he rocks at bowling?" Joe asked. "He's just playing you."

Hayley stared at Kevin who blushed and looked away.

"I think somebodys jealous." Hayley retorted. "No offence but you suck Joe."

We all laughed at Hayley's honesty and Joe's mock surprise.

"After bowling we are so hitting the dance floor. I hope you're all in the mood for a dance-off." he said. "That is something I can deffinetly win."

We finished bowling the score resulting in Joe and Carson, 52, mostly thanks to Carson and her natural talent. Kevin and Hayley, 122 and myself and Riley, 129.

"I still think we did well, to say Joe only managed to hit a total of 7 pins." Carson stated.
"Still can't beat me and my bowling expert." I laughed, kissing Riley's cheek.
"Dance Time!" Joe yelled.

We walked into the mini disco which had bright coloured lights, continuously flashing around the room. The dance floor was packed and the DJ was playing a Justin Timberlake track.

We had photo day today!
All the girls were caked in make-up with styled hair lol. Mine always end up wrong, last year I was pulling 'the face'. It's our flirty face where you bite your bottm lip lol. This time the photographer said I had large feet, so I'm probabley squinting and pissed lol
