GSX-R1000 GoPro - Waipapa Road, Waikato, New Zealand

10 mins North of Mangakino, just off State Highway 30 in the Waikato district of New Zealand is this gorgeous stretch of road.

It snakes towards (and for a short distance) along side New Zealand's longest river, the Waikato River (which runs from New Zealand's largest lake, Lake Taupo, a total distance of 425km to Port Waikato, South of Auckland)

You go past the Waipapa Dam, which is a great place to stop and have a break and take some photos of your bike and your riding group.

How ever short, the windy section in this video would be one of my favourite stretches of road for riding my motorcycle on in New Zealand.

Filmed with a GoPro HD Hero using a 'Chesty' mount. Not sure what caused the squeaky noises, but I'm guessing from the camera housing as the teflon seal had some slight debris on it. Hopefully my next video will be squeak-free.

@Tulpenzuechter Yeah, 'Chesty' cam, love it!. I think it's the best angle, really makes the viewer feel like they are on the bike with you. Original size of this clip before trimming slightly off the ends was 617MB. I just leave these big clips to upload overnight.

@nzhodgeman if you want to get rid of that sound, there should be a little white thingy that came with the cam, i didnt know what it was at first, but after you clip the cam onto your helmet mount, that little white piece goes in the gap, it eliminates 100% of the clicking
