As with all breeds of dogs greyhounds end up all over the place, I am pro-racing but some of the stories you hear are sickening. Fortunately the rules for racing are toughening up and people are being prosecuted more harshly. I still think more needs to be done but by working together with the racing industry rather than against it.
This video is a selection of dogs from Tia Greyhound & Lurcher rescue and what they supposably came in with.

I have a rescued racing greyhound and she's the most beautiful dog you can imagine, friendly, gentle, dignified, almost catlike.
I highly recommend the greyhound as a pet and I usually own (and still do) the bull breeds.

@Eppeh I have an amazing ex racing greyhound who is the most wonderful affectionate dog you could wish to meet. I just wish more would come up for re-homing - they make wonderful pets.

Aww I saw Jeremy at the dog show Tia had last year, he's absolutely gorgeous! If you have any pictures or videos you'd like me to include in future Tia vids please send them, I have no idea why I didn't put him on!
