Thanks for posting this....it brought back happy memories. From holidaying in a cottage overlooking the river and an old printing works, to kipping in a car on the car park near the fire station. A sleepy afternoon watching club cricket as the cars took your route out of town over the bridge. The narrow streets speak of a time before the car. My snapshot of "Dolly"...wet Thursday afternoon and homes churning out the sweet smell of fires burning Welsh coal! Lovely.

Lived in Dolgellau, worked in the Royal Ship hotel there. Lovely place, downside nothing much to do there and no drinking on Sunday.

Too bad I didn't get to visit Wales after seeing this! Got to love that old world charm with that country scenery. However, I remember now why we walked or rode bicycles everywhere in England. We aren't used to those twisty narrow roads here in Yankland! lol!

Almost every town/village is like this in Wales, all similar yet entirely different! Only 3500 people live here. No 2 buildings are the same, every one has hundreds of old stories dating back hundreds, if not thousands of year! These roads aren't that narrow compared to some! I've been down ones where you have to fold both mirrors in! lol
