Abbey Simon playing Chopin's Impromptu in A flat, Op.29

On May 13, 2010, accomplished and critically acclaimed American pianist Abbey Simon performed on the new Yamaha CFX concert grand at a private concert for Faust Harrison Pianos located on 205 West 58th Street in NYC. Simon played Schumann's Kreisleriana, Op.16 and all of Chopin's Preludes (Op.28). This video (in which Simon plays Chopin's Impromptu in A flat, Op.29) is part of his encore, which also included Chopin's Scherzo No.2 in B flat minor, Op. 31.

I know, I saw at the Los Angeles County Museum at Sundays Live and he autographed my program. He was great at 80 years old! I have no excuse to sit on my lazy butt, except to get off it and get going and practicing.
