@21brandon We ran 250's on a 1/4 mile asphalt track and all we used was like a RD25 or 30. We were running 12.1 sec. if you put asphalt slicks on the cars i think they will be going to fast for a Micro, or Mini, sprint Chassis to handel a hard crash. It was funn as hell though, i hope you have fun with it, its really fast if you do it right.

Gloves?? What happens when you crash on your dirt tyres with no gloves and it catches fire?

we are thinking about trying this(running on asphalt) in NC. Did you just use hard compound dirt tires, or is there special asphalt tires for micros?

I don't know much about it. I've seen a few videos and it appears that you can get asphalt slicks. I just ran some used dirt tires. I ended up getting five short practice sessions before they were corded. I definitly hope to see some 600s on asphalt! Next time i was in NC I'd have to come race!

Sorry. the chase cam kept shutting itself off? That was just a practice night to test it out. We are considering promoting an asphalt race for the local dirt group.

What kind of crap is that, 50+ seconds of the car sitting then only a few seconds on the track...why bother to post it?
