We participated in this event bringing out our storm chase vehicles to demonstrate and answer questions about severe weather and storm chasing. Texas Tech had on hand a wide variety of weather demonstrations and all sorts of cool equipment you can learn more about in this video series.

The National Weather Service also gave guided tours of their adjacent offices and presented a Storm Spotter class. The Red Cross was also on hand with information as well as the South Plains Storm Spotter team.

Kids young and old alike were able to get their fill of weather related activities and then go and watch the IMAX film Storm Chasers in the IMAX Theater.
