  • When did she actually make this recording? I have it on a Goodyear GREAT SONGS OF CHRISTMAS album from about 1965--three year before this TV series began.

  • This was for her 1970 TV show as stated on this page description.

  • What an adorable lady..

  • I think the Academy of Motion Pictures should honor her with an honorary Oscar and also a tribute from the AFI.

  • The Academy by many accounts has wanted to honor Doris Day with a career achievement Oscar but she has graciously declined. Same with the Kennedy Center Honors. It's clear she long ago left Hollywood and fame behind and has enjoyed her being a businessperson and an activist on behalf of those who cannot advocate on behalf of themselves (heck, they can't even talk, though they can "speak"!). I think it's a matter of her having little interest in who she was and much interest in who she is.

  • Silver Bells.

    Special Ballad.

  • @mrobertb Yep that's Billy. He was also the voice of the Magician from Frosty the Snowman.

  • @PhoenixBird50 I just wondered because. Some sources said he was bi, and some sources say he was gay. I wish someone would clarify that.

  • @DonnaMammaMia Gee, she still IS beautiful!!!

  • @matthewosmond1984 WHY? I just don't understand why it needs to be answered, nor why anyone should care.

  • oh the cheese still its great !

  • Billy De Wolfe was a great actor, no doubt about it, but someone answer this question. Do you have any proof that he was a fag?

  • What a classy lady! :) One of a kind..

  • Great lady. Lovely, and what class.
