GTA IV (GTA 4) - UFO Mystery

1,000,000 VIEWS!!!!!!

PLEASE READ THIS!!!

Now, I know that they are probably meant to represent aircraft lights, but at times I'm not more than 50 feet off of the surface of the water and they appear MILES in the distance below me!

I could never gain on them or shoot them!

Rockstar Games didn't program perspective/distance into these "lights" very well. Sometimes they moved in ways that an object that is supposed to be that "far away" couldn't possibly move.

They are not police helicopters as they didn't show up on the map.

And they are NOT boats. I went lower to check and they were definitely flying objects.

Are they UFOs? They are flying and I sure can't catch them to indentify them!

actually if those of you who were saying it is background plane lights, try opening the IMG files, and you will notice rockstar actually names some of their files some weird an unexplainable things such as in san andreas where some IMG files were in fact named ufo_light2.dff or ufo_light3.dff so are these image files in fact ufo lights? my guess would be yes seeing how they are named ufo_light2.dff and ufo_light3.dff so yall that think these are glitches are pretty dumb and profound!

@tbw5192 That is one the most ingenious comments I've received on this video. What a clever idea to look into the ACTUAL files and programming of GTA IV! Unfortunately, I only have the PS3 copy so I cannot do this. But I’m sure that would solve the mystery by looking at what Rockstar named it and programmed it to be.

these 'Really' are Ufos in GTA 4 ive seen them to on the 360 near a not so tall building hovering against eachother and sepperating:D

@spencerlever1 yes there air plains i went to the air port and saw the exact same light there's a 15% chance there ufos

@FatherAcid I seen this video. So i tried it and flew in like a half hour.First me and my buzzard got invisible. Then i seen these lights like u. But there was many like 5. Some of them were very down some high. So i think that this is true.

if your GTA IV is PC version then just download simple native trainer :) u can display the the cop wanted level =)
