On Dec. 8, 2009, Sen. Begich took to the Senate floor advocating on behalf of amendments improving cost containment provisions in health care reform. Senator Begich spoke specifically about an amendment benefiting Alaska that would extend the Rural Community Hospital Demonstration Project. This project has assisted hospitals in Sitka, Juneau, and Soldotna to provide better care. The discussed amendment will extend the project and its role in these communities by five years.
Alaska will never re-elect this man. His voting record supports everything Alaska isn't, he voted for health care, voted against auditing the fed, voted for a supreme court justice that is against the 2nd amendment. Mark Begich is a one term senator and he will be the only person scratching his head in wonderment. When you loose Mr. Bagich, please move to California were you belong..

Begich won election against a convicted felon by 3953 votes. He has no mandate to push health care. He has no mandate but to follow the Constitution. Let's send this guy back to Anchorage. He has no business holding office higher than mayor.
