I think fighting is just a part of the game. I doubt it will ever go away. Penalties could be upgraded, like ejections, but that won't stop two guys who really hate each other.

Concussion research to me is weird. Its like researching the cause of death and trying to minimize the effects of beating someone to a pulp. I know the cure. Stop allowing your head to get knocked over and over again.

NHL needs to stop the fighting and torn down some of the violence. I don't mind the hitting like the hitting in football, but the NHL has gone too far...

It's so bad, Air Canada as threatened to pull it's sponsorship from the league, that's a first and will not b the last, nor will it be just a threat.

I'm not hockey fan but when I sit down and watch a game I hate when their is a fight i feel it really lowers the legitimacy of the sport

Steve Ott is the enforcer for Dallas and Steve Downie for Tampa Bay. Both had 32 points for their respected teams and Downie did it only 57 games. I still took Zenon Konopka for my fantasy team though...his 307 PIM were oh so sweet
