was supposed to learn these in portadown, funny to think that my first time playing the bagpipes was in an ampitheatre in jerash, jordan. completely sureal..
The jordanian army was trained by the british at one stage, so today you see them playing bagpipes at special occasions here. (king abdullah is half english too by the way)
Sooo this sureal experience has led me to go learn the pipes, however not the scottish ones, but the uilleann (elbow) pipes of ireland, because they do sound sweeter. Living on the north east coast of ireland we're almost more culturally accustomed to hearing the scottish pipes, so take it from me, uilleann are alot nicer :)
ill get some videos up once i actually buy them cus they're very expensive and ithe saving process is taking me forever...
