The iPod Touch does not have a built in GPS or cell phone capability like the iPhone, so outside of a local wiFi spot, or your home WiFi, you wot get a signal.
You CAN purchase an add on GPS unit from Dual Electronics (available on the Apple site for $199.99)

hey im an avid geocacher..
i cant get my app to get my location right.
it says " your current location is not accurate. Your last location is being used until you acquire a GPS signal. " how do i get a signal ?
